This assignment helped me improve my design development skills. I had never done a branding project before despite previously having years of experience in freelance and in house graphic design roles. I really enjoyed taking the project from paper to screen and building a brand behind the logo. My design process has definitely changed through this project as before I would always jump straight on the computer to design rather than working on paper to ideate. This did mean I struggled slightly when it came to the paper ideation, as once I had a design idea I wanted to try and develop it further before exhausting all possible options first.
